Great idea, great item. It is very soft. Took one of the cats two days of just sitting on top of it to finally "burrow" in to it. Once he figured that out, he didn't come out for hours. But our cats are naturally "burrowers" anyways. They always get under things to snuggle.
I bought this for our outside cat to sleep in when it is cold. At first I didn't think she would have anything to do with it. I tried putting cat nip on the edge and she was only semi interested. When it really started getting cold, she started getting into it. Great success :)!
